Disciplinary (#186, #152)

The F2 Stock Car Racing Local Board of Control met on Thursday 19th March 2009 to investigate two alleged occurances of action specifically disallowed by Rule 92 of the 2009 BriSCA F2 Rule Book – deliberate fencings!

The first involved George Turiccki (186) at Birmingham on Saturday 7th March and the second involved Mick Sworder (152) at Birmingham on Saturday 14th March.

All evidence available was fully reviewed in both cases and the decisions based upon that.

George Turiccki was found guilty of deliberately fencing Nigel Green at Birmingham on Saturday 7th March and suspended from racing for a period of one year from the date of the hearing, with the latter ten months suspended. He may return to racing on 19th May 2009.

At the same hearing it was decided to take no further action against Mick Sworder (152), for an alleged deliberate fencing of Ian Meacham at Birmingham on Saturday 14th March, as there was no evidence to substantiate the claim.
