Disciplinary (#66, #154, #647)
The Board of Control recently met to hear three disciplinary cases with the following results:-
Chris Burgoyne (647) was found guilty of using fuel, at Arena Essex on April 26th 2009, with an excess reading for manganese in contravention of Rule 213 of the 2009 Stock Car Racing rules and Regulations. He is banned from racing for four weeks, and may return on Saturday June 20th 2009.
Steve Green Junior (154) was found guilty of using a fuel which did not meet the regulation of Rule 213 of the 2009 Stock Car Racing Rules and Regulations, at Arena Essex on April 26th 2009, and banned from racing for three months. As he has been suspended for a period, this has been taken into account and he may return to racing on August 15th 2009.
Both Burgoyne and Green Junior have been removed from the results of Arena Essex on April 26th 2009.
David Hogg (66) was found guilty of using an illegal carburettor at Cowdenbeath on Saturday May 16th 2009 in contravention of Rule 206 of the 2009 Stock Car Racing Rules and regulations, and has been banned from racing for twelve months. The carburettor in question was from a Ford V6 engine.
