The F2 Stock Car Racing Board of Control met on Tuesday 14 October 2008, to hear an appeal from #7 Gordon Moodie, against the length of his suspension from racing: ie: until the start of 2010.

All relevant information was given full consideration, and whilst appreciating Rule 151 does confirm a driver is liable to a maximum penalty of a life ban if found with an illegal engine, it was considered that a reduction in the suspension from racing was appropriate.

The driver had already lost the gold and silver roof for 2008, and broken his current run of point's championship wins.

He may return to racing on 1 July 2009.
