Following a Board of Control hearing, #127 Matt Stoneman was found guilty of an infringement of Rule 92 following an incident with 935 Nathan Maidment at Taunton on 28 October 2008.

The board issued Stoneman with a three month ban from racing. The ban takes effect from 28 February 2009, and expires on 27 May 2009.

Two months of the ban are suspended, allowing Stoneman to return to racing on 27 March 2009.

However the two months will be suspended for the remainder of the 2009 season, and should the driver be guilty of any other offence in this time the two months ban will be added to any other penalty.
