Benevolent Fund

News from Benevolent Fund Treasurer, Sharon Blood, is that the Fund is on course to become a registered charity in September 2010.

Sharon has reported a very commendable level of co-operation from promoters with regards to requests for collections and fund raising activities.

Amongst the fund raising activities in 2010 so far, the Raffle at Taunton in June raised £301.50, and a bucket collection at Skegness in July raised £600.38.

Activities planned for the next couple of months include:

• Bucket Collection at Skegness over the World Final Weekend in September.
• Crimond Raceway will be holding a F2 Ladies Race in October.
• Startrax will be holding a F2 Ladies Race in October.
• Startrax will be holding a Mechanics Race in October.
• Then comes the annual Awards Night in December.
