Challenge Trophy rescheduled for September 29

Message from RDC Promotions

We are very pleased to confirm this week that following the unfortunate cancellation of the June 17 event at Mildenhall Stadium, RDC Promotions has received the blessing from fellow BriSCA F2 Stockcar promoters to reschedule the long running F2 Challenge Trophy at the last Mildenhall meeting of the season on September 29.

A special thanks must go to our Scottish colleagues at GMP who have a BriSCA F2 Stockcar meeting scheduled at Cowdenbeath on September 29. All championship fixtures are supposed to be solos dates but GMP gave their blessing for this date to feature the Challenge Trophy despite them running their meeting on the same night and we are pleased that this Cowdenbeath fixture will be unaffected.

The September 29 fixture will also the white and yellow grade series final for the BriSCA F2 Stockcars but a final decision will be made nearer the time on the exact format of the meeting as to whether the white and yellow grade series final doubles up as a heat race to determine qualifiers for the Challenge Trophy as, especially given the lack of F2 racing at Mildenhall in June, we very much want to run a Grand National at this meeting.

Again a meeting format will be confirmed in due course, but the Challenge Trophy will be the final of the meeting which will run a traditional heat and consolation format and the September 29 programme also features the all RWD National Bangers RDC RWD Championship and Ministox and is hopefully going to be another fine night of full contact racing at Mildenhall.
