GMP Scotland Statement

The GMP management would like to give stock car drivers, mechanics and fans their full assurance that the Racewall will remain at Central Park, Cowdenbeath for the forseeable future.

GMP is a separate entity to Cowdenbeath FC and recent press speculation about the football club's predicament in no way impacts racing at the oval. If Central Park were to be redeveloped in the future a replacement track would be found/constructed.

Rumours about GMP having an uncertain future are completely unfounded and there is no cause for concern. GMP has recently secured full planning permission to allow stock car operations to continue at Cowdenbeath confirming its commitment to the Racewall.
