215 drivers raced in the seventh and last grading period of 2022, which contained 23 meetings.  The average car attendance across the 22 U.K. meetings was 26.55 and there were 47 different race winners.  In total, 333 different drivers have raced in the 2022 season.

The Best Attended Meetings for the Period were:-

Skegness 19 Nov – 57 cars,  Skegness 9 Oct – 55 cars,  King’s Lynn 22 Oct – 49 cars,  Skegness 6 Nov – 38 cars,  Taunton 2 Oct – 36 cars.

2022 Novice Of The Year

The Novice of the Year is open to ‘genuine’ novices, i.e. those who are in their first BriSCA F2 season and who started the season with a white roof.  The novice who has scored the most national points at the end of the season will be the winner of the Novice of the Year title.

2nd: 475 Leah Sealy – 278pts,

3rd: 900 Connor Smith – 134pts.

David’s Observations

· These grades will come into force on 1 January 2023.  The first grading period of season 2023 will run from 1 March to 15 April inclusive.

· In order to be eligible for downgrading on 1 May 2023, you must race a minimum of three times between 1 March and 15 April.

· As this is the final grading list of season 2022, all of the 333 drivers that have raced during the season are included.  However, those drivers who are currently inactive owing to retirement or suspension are shown in red in italic script.

· International drivers are shown on the grading list solely for information purposes.  Their positions have no effect on grades.

· Points, appearances etc., are from meetings attended, that are on the National Fixture List.
