David's Observations

These grades will come into force on 1 January 2012. The first grading period of season 2012 will run from 1 March to 15 April inclusive.

Note that the BriSCA Shoot-Out meeting, held at Birmingham on 19 November, does not count for grading points.

Again, for season 2012, drivers need only race three times in a grading period in order to be eligible for downgrading.

To be considered for downgrading on 1 May 2012, you must therefore race a minimum of three times between 1 March and 15 April 2012.

As this is the final grading list of season 2011, all of the 504 drivers that have raced during the season are included. However, those drivers who are currently inactive owing to retirement or suspension are shown in italic script.

International drivers, and those drivers who are retired or suspended are shown on the grading list solely for information purposes. Their positions have no effect on the grades of active drivers. Points, appearances etc., are from meetings attended, that are on the National Fixture List.

Graded Drivers Retired/Suspended in the Period (in points scoring order within grades)

R: 154, 324, 218, 779, 907.

B: 409, 270, 343.

Y: 116, 305, 427, 162, 904, 125, 516, 568.

In total 25 drivers retired or failed to race in the period.
