289 drivers raced in the fifth grading period of 2010, which contained 29 meetings.  The average car attendance across the 23 mainland meetings was 29.30 and there were 51 different race winners. In total, 424 different drivers have raced this season.

The Best Attended Meetings for the Period were:-
Mildenhall  24 Jul - 69 cars;  Mildenhall 25 Jul - 69 cars;  Coventry 7 Aug - 60 cars.

Drivers with the Best Attendance Record for the Period were:-

Piper Cams Novice Of The Year
The Novice of the Year is open to 'genuine' novices, i.e. those who are in their first BriSCA F2 season and started the season with a white roof.  The novice who has scored the most national points at the end of the season will be the winner of the Novice of the Year title.

The winner will be presented with the Novice of the Year trophy, and the Norman Butcher Trophy, at the NEC in January 2011.  The runner-up and the third place finisher will also receive trophies at that time.

David's Observations

• These grades will come into force on 1 September 2010.  The next grading period will be the last of season 2010 and will run from 21 September to the end of the season inclusive.

• In order to be eligible for downgrading on 1 October 2010, you must race a minimum of four times between 21 August and 20 September and also have raced at least once between 21 July and 20 August.

• International drivers are shown on the grading list solely for information purposes.  Their positions have no effect on grades.  Points, appearances etc., are from meetings attended, that are on the National Fixture List.
