BriSCA F2 is Europe's Largest Short Oval Formula

Over 600 Drivers, more than 25 Tracks, and in excess of 200 meetings per season from the North of Scotland to the South West of England, and across Mainland Europe and Northern Ireland. BriSCA F2 is the largest Single seater motor sport in Europe. Click Here to see the list of Tracks that stage BriSCA F2 and click here to see when & where the next race meeting is.

BriSCA F2 Stock Cars offer fast, spectacular race action, as drivers push, shove and hit one another out of the way, in pursuit of glory. 25 to 40 cars on a small 1/4 mile tarmac or shale tracks leads to very exciting racing.

The Value of BriSCA F2
With over 600 drivers that means 600+ cars, 600+ transporter/tow vehicle, over 4000 wheels & tyres, spares etc. At a very low estimate each driver has a package of over £15,000. Add that together and the sport is worth 10 MILLION POUNDS!
And remember BriSCA F2 Stock Car Racing is seen by more people in the UK than Touring Cars - FACT!

A brief history of BriSCA F2 Stock Car racing
Junior Tens racing was introduced to the short oval raceways of the UK in August 1960. They were designed to offer the working man a chance of Stock Car racing without the prohibited expense of trying to run against the big spenders in the Senior Stock Car class.
Junior Tens became Juniors and then were eventually renamed BriSCA Formula Two Stock Cars. The Senior Stock Cars are what we today call BriSCA Formula One Stock Cars. The growth of the formula during the 1960's was astonishing, with tracks opening in various parts of the country, with the South West becoming a particular stronghold of the sport. During the 1970's dramatic modernization of the sport took place, which saw the racing become limited to the South West, before the sport went big time again in the late 1970's, ahead of being reintroduced to Scotland in 1981. Year on year growth in the driver ranks now sees BriSCA F2 racing as the largest open wheeled Stock Car sport in the country with over six hundred registered drivers, and tracks that span from Aberdeenshire in Scotland right down to the South West of England, touching base in the North East, Lancashire, Yorkshire, The Midlands, the East Coast region, the South West coast and down as far London.
