Whilst congratulations are in order to the 20 drivers who successfully sealed their qualification for the World Championship Final, to be staged at Smeatharpe Stadium, Taunton, on 28 September, and commiserations are extended to the remaining 36 drivers who missed out at the first attempt, bookings for ALL drivers in Tiers 1, 2 & 3 are now closed.

• Tier 1 – World Finalists - All 20 of 20 booked in
• Tier 2 – Last Chance Qualifier drivers - 35 of 37 booked in
• Tier 3 – All other drivers who have raced at least once this season at St Day - 21 of 32 booked in

This process has been vital in helping staging promoters Autospeed determine the number of places available to non-World Finalists (drivers in Tier 4), and for whom a bookings window will open for just 48-hrs (see separate news item),
