2026 Scottish Triple Header

BriSCA F2, in conjunction with Knockhill Racing Circuit, Crimond Raceway, and Cowdenbeath Racewall, is pleased to announce a double-triple-bill of championships and World Qualifiers (WCQRs) to be held at the end of June.

The championship triple-header gets underway in the height of summer at Knockhill Racing Circuit on Wednesday 24th June with the BriSCA Supreme Championship. #183 Charlie Guinchard took the title in commanding style at Mildenhall in 2025, while it was the local #854 Robbie Dawson who was victorious at Crimond Raceway in 2023, the last time the event was held in Scotland.

Three days after the tricky Knockhill triangle with its unique gravel traps, the action moves to BriSCA F2’s most northerly outpost as Crimond Raceway welcomes visitors for the F2 Challenge Trophy on Saturday 27th June. Defending champion #890 Paul Rice couldn’t go any further to defend the title he won at Cornwall’s United Downs Raceway (St.Day) in 2025, but it could be anybody’s race as former shale regular #4 Martin Ford showed by taking the victory at Crimond in 2021.

Finally, rounding out an epic weekend on the way home for most drivers and fans, Cowdenbeath Racewall will host the 45th running of the historic Scottish Championship on Sunday 28th June. Having waited years to claim one of the sport’s titles, #3 Liam Rennie took his second championship in two weeks as he won the right to proudly display the Saltire roof at Crimond Raceway in 2025. #903 Ben Spence was the last Englishman to win the Scottish title in 2022, while the reining World Champion #7 Gordon Moodie will be looking to repeat last September’s triumphant evening and in doing so claim a record 11th victory.

As if three championships in three days weren’t enough, all three meetings make up a triple-header of World Championship Qualifying Rounds, and a chance to score those all-important attendance and race points towards a place on the Semi-Final grids. By the end of the weekend there will be only a small number of WCQRs remaining, and it could be coming crunch time for those eager to make the most of this year’s series.
