Things can move fast in the world of BriSCA F2, and, hot on the heels of the April release, another fixtures stumbling block has now been resolved. BriSCA F2 is therefore pleased to publish the confirmed national fixture dates for May 2026.
The May-Day bank-holiday weekend kicks-off with Northampton's World Championship Qualifying Round (WCQR), a meeting expected to be busy as the host venue for the World Championship Final later in the year. The first of Skegness' speed-weekends features a week later, while mid-month Aldershot hosts its sole BriSCA F2 meeting for the season with another WCQR. It's the Nutts Corner speed-weekend on the second bank-holiday weekend of the month, although there's still plenty of racing on the UK mainland that weekend too. The month is rounded off with a Thursday night at Skegness during the schools' half-term, followed closely by its second speed-weekend of the month as once again Autospeed go on tour and head to the seaside with BriSCA F2s featuring alongside the UK Championships for ORCi Stock Rods and Ministox.
The confirmed fixtures for the first three months of the season are therefore as follows:
*Note: Although 28-Feb falls outside of the official BriSCA F2 season, as defined in Regulation 3 in the BriSCA F2 Regulations, this meeting has obtained special sanction from BriSCA F2 (as has happened in previous years when 1-Mar falls on a Sunday), and is therefore being treated as a standard scoring meeting for both Grading and World Championship Qualifying points.
BriSCA F2 and individual promotions continue to work on their full fixtures, however, as previously reported, a number of external factors continue to impact scheduling across the country. Further fixture dates will be released over the coming few weeks as appropriate when confirmed, so keep an eye on the BriSCA F2 website and social media pages for further updates.
