Ahead of the upcoming 2025 World Cup weekend at Raceway Venray, drivers are reminded of important safety requirements when racing in the Netherlands.
ORCi Requirements - As per the ORCi regulations in use in the UK, the following mandatory safety items are required:
Additional Requirements - In addition to the above, the following items are MANDATORY when racing at Raceway Venray:
ALL items must be clearly labelled with the appropriate standards to allow scrutineers to check their compliance with the regulations.
Harnesses - The use of harness shoulder belts, narrower than the basic standard 3in/75mm minimum width required by the ORCi, is permitted ONLY when used with an FHR device. Any driver presenting with narrower shoulder harness straps must also present their FHR device.
Radio Channel - The radio channel frequency in use at Raceway Venray is 456.5000.
Groundsheet - A groundsheet under the car in the pits, to protect the environment from fluid spills is, mandatory for all formulas.
Simpson Racewear will be in attendance over the weekend if drivers require any missing/replacement items.
